Bob was appointed in April 2009 to the position of global CEO at Razorfish having served four years as president of the company's East region.
In his new role, he oversees the company's global operations and is leading the company's expansion into Latin America, among other parts of the world. With employees, clients and the marketplace, he is sharing his vision of a company that creates digital experiences to build businesses.
Bob has a passion for bringing big ideas and nimble thinking, and since joining Razorfish in 2000 Bob has helped Razorfish develop its business and gain several agency-of-record relationships. In 2004, Bob served as COO of Razorfish, prior to its merger with Avenue A.
Previously, Bob served as COO and executive vice president of Prism Rehab Systems, a professional services firm in the healthcare sector. Before Prism, he was a partner consultant with Symmetrix, a strategic systems re-engineering firm. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Engineering from Syracuse University.
Raymond Velez is the Global Chief Technology Officer for Razorfish. He manages Razorfish’s capabilities in web technology architecture and oversees the company’s more than 400 technologists globally. Ray has deep experience in the application development lifecycle, from inception to rollout, and has applied his expertise on many of Razorfish’s largest client implementations including Citibank, CondéNet, Ford Motor Company and the National Football League. Ray was also instrumental in Razorfish’s role as incubation partner for Bundle, a financial social media start-up.
Ray’s background includes architectural consulting in enterprise systems and strategic IT planning. He has trained and developed curriculums in various technologies and methodologies including the Rational Unified Process and Agile Methodologies. Ray’s experience includes fifteen years in the technology industry. Prior to Razorfish he served as a senior architectural consultant at Cambridge Technology Partners. He is a member of various professional associations, including IEEE and ACM.
Andreas founded his own agency working alone in his living room, and has since grown it to service worldwide brands and employ more than 100 people. He oversees of our presence in Germany, which operates under the name Neue Digitale Razorfish. He is responsible for consulting, client service and new business. Andreas sits on the board of the German Association of Communication Agencies, and founded its section for interactive marketing. He founded Neue Digitale in September 1996.
Prior to this, Andreas worked for Pixel Factory, managing multimedia production and design projects. Before that he was an industrial designer at Witte Design. In 2006 he was voted “German Web Personality of the Year.” He holds a degree in Engineering and Economics from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
With over 15 years digital marketing experience, Chris leads Razorfish UK as the Managing Director. He was part of the entrepreneurial team who grew a small, start-up agency into a leader in the European market working with some of the most renowned brands in the world. Chris has hands on experience and knowledge of all areas of digital, from the development of business critical platforms through to immersive, award winning creative.
Having been involved in award winning work for clients ranging from Hugo Boss to the NSPCC, in addition to working with current clients such as Audi, McDonald's and O2 -- Chris has worked with every major industry sector. In 2009, Chris spent 12 months leading a competitive pan European full service digital agency, before returning to Razorfish and the team he helped to grow.
Ken has over 13 years of experience in marketing, eight of those are in digital with a focus on strategy, analytics and management. He leads both Razorfish and Digitas in China. As head of the Shanghai office, he sets the strategic direction for the agencies as well as managing day-to-day operations.
Originally from Shanghai, Ken spent 17 years studying and working in Switzerland and the United States. He held various positions in marketing and finance functions in both Fortune 500 company and boutique investment firm and then became the VP of Strategy, Analytics and Innovation at Razorfish in Seattle. In that capacity, he was focusing on work with Microsoft. He then returned to Shanghai to run Razorfish/Digitas. Over the years, he has helped many clients such as Microsoft, Nike, Unilever, BestBuy, Expedia and L'Oreal develop and execute global and local digital marketing programs.
Ken holds a BBA degree in Finance from Stetson University and a MBA degree from University of Florida. He won the "Rising Star" award from Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) in 2009. He is also a frequent speaker for many industry conferences and seminars.
Grace is in charge of overall business strategic development, leading the team for continuous development of Razorfish and driving best practices of digital marketing. Working with clients as digital partners, Grace is making strategic recommendation to clients on digital platform.
Grace has a strong marketing and management background with 18 years marketing management experience in the FMCG category prior to her digital marketing adventure. Grace has been exposed to both Hong Kong and Chinese markets in her 12 years with the world’s largest food company, Nestle. She was the Marketing Manager – Greater China Region for one of Nestlé’s key strategic product category: Ice Cream.
From consumer insights to product/brand launches to consumer communication, Grace has been involved in major brand launches in Hong Kong and China, utilizing traditional as well as digital platform for consumer demand generation. Grace is a graduate of the EMBA program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Vincent was appointed President of Network operations for Razorfish APAC in January 2011. He oversees operations and M&A in the region, particularly in Greater China, with an emphasis on driving growth and accelerating the strategic capabilities offered to clients.
Vincent brings 30 years of experience in the ad business, spanning Paris, London and Singapore. He developed a high level, online operational Marketing consultancy and Planning practice in Shanghai as well as a platform to manage CRM programs on mobile phones. Previously Vincent was the CEO of EURORSCG Asia Pacific which he developed from a traditional advertising to a fully integrated communication network.
He graduated from L’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon and holds an MBA from York University in Toronto.
Michael brings over 15 years digital marketing experience to Razorfish. Charged with setting up the first Razorfish office outside the USA Michael started the Razorfish Sydney office in August 2005. He overseas the Australian operation which now has 80 employees across Sydney and Melbourne. Michael also set up the media division of Amnesia Razorfish with clients including Aussie Home Loans, Expedia, Tourism New Zealand and Foxtel.
The agency has been a finalist for agency of the year 5 years in a row and has been awarded agency of the year for 3 of those years. He speaks regularly at industry and client conferences including Adtech, Imedia and AIMIA.
Prior to Amnesia Razorfish Michael helped set up in 2000 the digital agency OneDigital and was the main contact for clients including eBay, Monster, HSBC, Nestle and Microsoft.
José brings his 10 years of experience at Razorfish to Latin America, ensuring the agency’s complete service offering and best practices. José has served both as Director of Strategy and as head of the New York Client Services organization. He has led several of Razorfish’s most complex client engagements such as Citi, CNN, Hulu, Microsoft, Terra, The Wall Street Journal, Time Warner, Nielsen and Philip Morris USA.
Prior to joining Razorfish, José spent 3 years heading up the Latin America group at Lippincott, a leading brand strategy and corporate identity consulting firm. During his tenure at Lippincott, José worked on multiple engagements in Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Chile, including leading companies in the oil and gas, media, telecommunications, retail and financial services sectors.
José is a native of El Salvador, moving to the United States as a teenager. He holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and BA from Princeton University.
Pete is President of the East region of Razorfish, where he oversees the strategic direction and operations of its New York and Boston offices. He is also responsible for Razorfish’s recent expansion into Latin America and oversees the social and mobile practices.
In addition to managing the business, Pete takes a hands-on approach as advisor to many of the agency’s top clients, applying 17 years of experience as a business strategist and digital marketing consultant. He has worked with such clients as Mercedes-Benz, Unilever, Ford Motor Company, T. Rowe Price, Victoria’s Secret, Morgan Stanley, and The New York Times. Pete joined Razorfish in 1996.
Pete is also a highly sought-after speaker who has spoken at conferences such as AD:TECH, Web 2.0 Expo, The CMO Summit and PhoCus Wright. He pens a column in iMedia Connection and Marketing News, and long ago taught e-commerce strategy at the University of Maryland’s School of Business. Pete holds a BS from Lehigh University.
Shannon is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of Razorfish services across the Atlanta, Austin and Chicago client base in the US. Shannon also leads the new Razorfish platforms offering, oversees our operations within the US, and serves as the executive sponsor of the emerging experience practice group.
Previously, Shannon was responsible for managing Razorfish’s strategy and innovation initiatives throughout the agency’s central region. Shannon brings over 17 years of experience in consulting and professional services with a passion for customer-centric business strategies and ROI-driven technology solutions.
Shannon has been a pioneer in the Web and emerging technology arena. He was president and CEO of Xcelerate, an e-business consulting and professional services firm. Shannon hails from Texas Tech University with a BS in computer science. He is a frequent speaker and presenter on customer-centric business models and emerging technology adoption.
Christian is President of the West region of Razorfish where he leads the Seattle, Portland and San Francisco offices. He also leads our national media practice. Christian has been with Razorfish for more than 12 years, and has built solutions across strategy, creative, technology, and media organizations for clients such as Disney, ESPN, CBS, Activision, Walmart, Sony, Intel and Microsoft.
Christian has long championed new media mix modeling and brings a truly agnostic approach to paid/earned/owned, combined with a broad creative background. He sits on several advisory boards in the Bay Area, participates in industry forums, and speaks regularly as an expert on digital marketing. Prior to working at Razorfish, Christian worked at GE Capital IT Solutions for four years, leading national service accounts. Christian holds a BA from University of California, San Diego.
Kokich oversees Razorfish's strategic direction, works directly with core accounts, represents Razorfish in the marketplace and develops thought leadership. He was appointed chairman in April 2009, a newly created position. For two years before that, Clark served as our CEO, leading our global expansion into the largest interactive services firm in the world. He was previously our worldwide president, a role he assumed in September 2005, prior to which he was president of our West region. He has also served as president of Avenue A, Seattle and Chicago; president of Digital Marketing Solutions, Seattle; SVP, Diversified Services; and VP + GM, Growth Markets Division. He’s been with us since 1999.
Before joining us, Clark was president and CEO of apparel retailer Calla Bay, head of sales and marketing for a division of McCaw Cellular Communications, and EVP + GM of Cole & Weber in Seattle. He is a member of the new digital board of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
