SEATTLE – December 04, 2007 - Avenue A l Razorfish, one of the largest interactive services firms in the world, today announced it was cited as a leader in "The Forrester Wave™: Interactive Marketing Agencies, Q4 2007 (December 2007)" Forrester Research report. Avenue A l Razorfish was among six other interactive marketing agencies selected by Forrester for evaluation.
Forrester cited Avenue A l Razorfish as a leader because of its "breadth of experience with interactive marketing campaigns utilizing many different channels such as email, search, display ads, and emerging channels, as well as strong measurement and analytics capabilities." Avenue A l Razorfish was previously named a leader in the "Forrester Wave™: Interactive Agencies - Web Design Capabilities, Q2 2007" report in April 2007.
The report recommends Avenue A l Razorfish to larger companies that need digital marketing strategies that span online channels and are grounded in audience research. Forrester noted that Avenue A l Razorfish's "experience with clients like Levi Strauss, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Washington Mutual extend over social networks, blogs, mobile, and online video as well as mainstay tactics like microsites, online ads, media buying and planning, and Web design." The report also mentions the agency’s dedication to studying changing online behaviors with initiatives such as the Living Lab.
Forrester evaluated Avenue A l Razorfish and the other agencies against 52 criteria including approach to solving hypothetical scenarios and in-depth interviews with client references. Participating agencies are recognized in one of four categories: a leader, strong performer, contender or risky bet.
