Heart Internet Supports Creatives at BIMA 100

Heart Internet was proud to sponsor the BIMA 100, the British Interactive Media Association’s annual celebration of the 100 most influential people in the UK digital industry. Taking place on Tuesday, 10 May, in the Ham Yard Hotel in London, the BIMA 100 was a glittering event with the best and brightest of the British digital world.

Along with the BIMA 100, there were also two inductees into the BIMA Hall of Fame – Jamal Edwards, founder of SBTV, the online music platform, and Riccardo Zacconi, CEO of King Games, makers of Candy Crush.

Heart Internet sponsored the BIMA 100 Creatives category, focused on the 10 most influential people in creative roles. As the UK’s largest web host for designers and developers, we were delighted to sponsor these talented people that are the backbone of the Internet.

The 10 people included as the BIMA 100 Creatives for 2016 were:

We were honoured to get a few minutes with some of these inspired people and ask them what they thought about being included in the BIMA 100.

Daniel Bonner said: 
“It’s an honour to be included alongside notable industry influences in the BIMA Hot 100 for the third year. Throughout my career I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside many of the individuals listed and I continue to respect and support their work. Matt Gibson said: 
“I feel extremely honoured to be recognised by BIMA in the Hot 100. I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the wonderful team at Cyber-Duck, without whom it wouldn’t be possible to produce the creative and innovative projects I’ve been involved in over the past year.”

Nicky Bullard said:

Thea Hamrén said: 
“I’m honoured to be listed as one of the BIMA 100 amongst a lot of movers and shakers in the UK digital scene. For me, it means that doing things differently and creating projects with purpose cuts through the clutter and gets noticed, which I think is reassuring and makes me excited to be a part of this industry.”
